Black / Night Next-Gen Adidas Gloro 16.1 2016 Boots Released
The next-generation Adidas Gloro 16.1 Football Boots ditch the tongue of the first generation. Released on December 2, 2015, the new Adidas Gloro 2016 Soccer Cleats feature a classic design with striking elements and a Kangaroo leather upper.
In March 2015, Adidas launched the all-new Adidas Gloro Soccer Boots featuring a traditional boot design with modern technologies at an affordable price. The second generation of the Adidas Gloro 2016 Boots is continuing on this concept. So let's get into the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Football Boots.
Adidas Gloro 16.1 Black / Night Metallic / Solar Green / Solar Blue
This is the first Adidas Gloro 16.1 Cleat.
The launch colorway of the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Soccer Boots combines the understated color black with classic silver (Night Metallic) Three Stripes on the outstep and the instep. On the heel area of the new Adidas Gloro 16.1 is the embossed lettering gloro.
Most remarkably, the midsole of the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Boots boasts a flashy color gradient fading from blue to green. The outsole of the next-gen Adidas Gloro Cleats is, however, all-black to complement the fresh look of the boot.
The Adidas Gloro 16.1 Soccer Cleats feature a super soft Kangaroo leather upper in the forefoot area without traditional stitching, while the heel uses a leather-like synthetic material for more stability and durability.
Compared to the Adidas Gloro 2015 Boots, the new Adidas Gloro 16.1 Boots remove the iconic tongue. It's a bold step to remove the tongue after nine months. The tongue-less design makes the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Boots even closer to the Adidas 11pro 2015 Boots.
The totally new outsole of the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Boots features a traditional stud configuration with conical studs. Design-wise, the sole plate features a diamond-shaped pattern and yellow details.
The new Adidas Gloro 16.1 Boot retails at a price of 100 Euro (80 GBP, 100 USD) and are available from early December 2015 at selected retailers.
