Next-Gen Adidas Gloro 2016 Boots Released
The next-generation Adidas Gloro 2016 Football Boots introduce a brand-new design for Adidas' modern Heritage Boot. Released on 2 December 2015, the second generation of the Adidas Gloro Soccer Cleats were launched in four different paint jobs initially.
On March 1 2015, Adidas introduced the first-ever Adidas Gloro Soccer Cleats. Designed to offer players a high-quality football boot with a classic Adidas design, the Adidas Gloro 2015 Boots were launched in six colorways to become an instant classic.
Adidas Gloro 2016 Football Boot
This is the red launch colorway of the Adidas Gloro Soccer Boots.
The most remarkable colorway of the next-gen Adidas Gloro 16.1 FG Football Shoes combines the classic main color black with silver Three Stripes and a Multicolor sole plate to make a bold statement. The second striking paint job of the Adidas Gloro 2016 Boots boasts the main color Vivid Red, combined with classic white and black applications and brandings.
It's only logical that Adidas also offers players two classic colorways. The Black / White Adidas Gloro Football Boots are anything but striking, while the White / Black Adidas Gloro 16.1 Football Boots feature a clean design.
Tech-wise, it's eye-catching that Adidas removed the classic fold-over tongue, which was the most remarkable feature of the first-generation Adidas Gloro Soccer Boots. But the Adidas Gloro Boots have undergone more changes that don't immediately catch the eye.
It's the first time that the Adidas Gloro Soccer Boots feature a bespoke sole plate after the first-generation used the outsole of the by then discontinued Adidas Adipure 11pro Boots.
The upper of the Adidas Gloro Boots has also undergone some changes to create a more modern design. Adidas removed almost completely removed classical stitching of the
Adidas Gloro 2015 Boots so only necessary stitching remained for the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Cleats.
All in all, the changes give the Adidas Gloro Boots a brand-new direction. While the first-generation was inspired by the classic Adidas Boots such as the Adidas Predator Mania 2002 World Cup Boots, the Adidas Gloro 16.1 Football Boots is kind of a successor of the Adidas Adipure 11pro Boots, which was discontinued in May 2015.
The Adidas Gloro 16.1 FG Soccer Cleat retails at a price of 100 Euro (80 GBP, 100 USD) and are available from early December 2015 at selected retailers.
