Italy Euro 2016 Font Revealed

Puma has created a new font for player names and numbers to go with the early launch of the Italy Euro 2016 Away Kit. The same font will also be used with the Italy 2016 Home Shirt, set to be released in November.

Italy became the first team to unveil its Euro 2016 Away Kit last September and already debuted the new Puma Italy Euro 2016 Away Jersey in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Malta.

Italy Euro 2016 Kit Font

This is the new typeface used for player names and numbers on the Italy Euro 2016 Kits (via The Modern Game).

Roughly based on Puma's previous efforts, the Italy Euro 2016 font is blue with a contrasting golden shadow, drawing inspiration from the color scheme of the Italy 2016 Away Kit.

A recurring theme with recent football shirt fonts, the Italy Euro 2016 Typeface boasts a white line on the inside of each number and letter, as well as a monochromatic federation badge at the bottom of the numbers.
