Liverpool to Sport Global Goals Logo Today
The #GlobalGoals logo is seen on the Liverpool Kit for today.
On Friday, the United Nations formally adapted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development along with a set of Global Goals. By displaying its logo on the Liverpool shirt, the campaign hopes to raise awareness of its aim to help end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and more by 2030.
Additionally to the one-off shirt sponsorship, GlobalGoals has partnered with Liverpool on a number of other activities, including Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez taking penalties in the Dizzy Goals challenge and Kolo Touré participating in the World's Largest Lesson.
What do you think of Liverpool's and Standard Chartered's commendable decison to display the Global Goals logo in today's match? Let us know in the comments below.
