Leaked: United States 2016 Kit to Be Black

Exclusive. The next Nike US Soccer Home Jersey will be black. Set to be released in early 2016, the United States 2016 Kit will include the totally new US Soccer logo.

Made by long-term USA kit supplier Nike, the US Soccer 2016 Home Shirt will be launched ahead of the first 2016 matches and will subsequently be used at the 2016 Copa America Centenario, should it go through.

The new USA 2016 Shirt will be mostly black with a white Swoosh and featuring the new US Soccer crest. Blue and red accents are expected to be added to the design of the new Nike United States Soccer 2016 Jersey.

It will be the first time to see a black USA Home Kit, after all previous US Soccer Jerseys where predominantly white with blue and red as secondary colors. Interestingly, the US national team sported an iconic blue shirt, originally the away choice, for its home matches at the 1994 World Cup which it hosted.
