Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Prototype Boots Leaked
Update 05/11/15: New pictures leaked (Big thanks to XCT). Introducing the next-gen Nike Mercurial 2016 (Prototype) Football Boots. After Cristiano Ronaldo gave us the world's first look at the next-generation of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleats last week, the first pictures of a blackout version of the Nike Mercurial 2016 Boots were leaked.
Set to be released sometime ahead of the Euro 2016 in France, the next-generation of the Nike Mercurial Football Boots will be also launched with a cheaper model featuring the iconic Dynamic Fit collar for the first time. Let's get straight into the blackout next-gen Nike Mercurial 2016 Boots.
Blackout Next-Gen Nike Mercurial 2016 Soccer Boots
This is the blackout next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boot.
It's likely that the leaked pictures of the blackout Nike Mercurial 2016 Football Boots show the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleats, even though it's also possible that it's in fact a blackout version of the low-priced Nike Mercurial Veloce 2 Boot.
The next-generation Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots boast the trademark Dynamic Fit collar of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots. Interestingly, the blackout prototype boot features a higher collar than the cleat worn by the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in last week's training sessions. Therefore, it's likely that Ronaldo received a customized version of the boots, while the retail edition could feature a similarly high collar as the previous generation.
But the most remarkable element of the next-generation Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots is the upper which includes eye-catching strings for more stability and lockdown. While it's also rumored that the upper will use Nike's totally new Nike Flyweave technology, the leaked pictures do neither confirm nor deny this assumption.
However, it's also possible that the pictures actually show the cheap Nike Mercurial Veloce 2 2016 Boots. But as the cleats feature a seamless, tongue-less design and look almost the same as the boots worn by Cristiano Ronaldo, that's anything but likely.
What's sure is that the next-generation Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots are now anything but a secret while there was strangely enough no info about the cleats until a week ago. Do you think that the next-generation Nike Mercurial Boot is better than the previous generation? Let us know in the comments below.

Similarity Between Arsenal's 21-22 and 26-27 Kits
Leaked images of the Arsenal 26-27 third kit have many fans comparing it to the club's 21-22 away shirt. Both designs share a very similar light yellow base, a classic round collar, and matching dark blue and red accents.
Although the new jersey introduces a lightning bolt pattern representing the Royal Arsenal logo, this subtle detail might not be enough to make the design feel truly fresh or ground-breaking. Big thanks to @jerseystory_vn for the comparison image.
