What Will Drop - October 2015

Let's take a look at what to expect from the coming month in terms of football releases. After a busy September, which saw both boot drops from Adidas, Nike and Puma as well as major European kit releases from Adidas and Nike, October will mostly be about new cleats from Nike and Puma.

October 2015 Launches - Nike and Puma to Debut New Boots

The unusual second Nike Tech Craft Pack will see the light of the day this month.

First and foremost, Nike's second Tech Craft Pack is set for mid-month release, boasting a powerful look of Canvas and Volt. All Nike silos and models will receive the unique paint job, while the tech details are going to be same as for the first Nike Tech Craft Pack, released in August.

Based on the regular Nike Hypervenom II, Magista and Mercurial Boots, the Canvas / Volt Nike Tech Craft Pack Cleats come with an extra layer of k-leather which is stitched on the upper in the front half.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who's just scored his 500th career goal as a pro and who's still wearing August's pink Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots at the moment, will finally receive his next signature boot this month as well, the interesting Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 'Lava'.

Additionally, Nike will also unveil new FootballX-exclusive colors: a black Nike Hypervenom, red Nike Magista and the stunning gold Nike MercurialX Proximo.

After Puma recently unveiled two-color paint jobs for the evoPOWER and evoSPEED, the German brand will launch new colors for both silos midway through the month. The pop art-inspired Puma evoPOWER POP is accompanied by the more low-key Electric Blue Puma evoSPEED SL Boots.

Adidas, meanwhile, is not expected to follow up on the super-busy September, a month that saw the brand reignite the Primeknit collection with the launch of the all-new Adidas Ace and Adidas X Primeknit Boots.

In terms of kit releases, October will be the quiet before the storm in a way, with all major 15-16 club kit launches finished and the Adidas Euro 2016 Kits only coming next month.
