Solar Gold Adidas X 15.1 Boots Released - First 2016 Colorway
The yellow, black and pink Adidas X 2016 Football Boots introduce a bold design for the 10th colorway of the Adidas Chaos Boots. Released in late January 2016, the new paint job was already worn by number of players, including Luis Suárez, in last weekend's league matches.
Players such as Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Arjen Robben, Ángel Di Maria and Marcelo will switch to to the striking Solar Gold, Black and Shock Pink Adidas X 2016 Cleats paint job in early 2016, even though some of them will very likely opt for other versions than the synthetic one.
Adidas X 15.1 Solar Gold / Black / Shock Pink
This is the first Adidas X 2016 Football Boots Colorway.
Combining the main color Solar Gold with black and pink applications, the new yellow Adidas X 2016 Cleat is designed to make a bold statement on the pitch. The black and pink X-cage of the first Adidas X 2016 Cleats breaks up the clean look of the upper. It's the first time that a Men's version of the Adidas X Boots features a bold color gradient design for the X-cage, whereas previous boots came with a solid color for the stability element.
Adidas combines the yellow boot with a contrasting black techfit collar and sole plate, a black Adidas Performance logo on the heel area and a pink X branding on the tongue.
Performance-wise, it's only logical that the first Adidas X 2016 Boot paint job offers the same features as all previous colorways and special editions of the synthetic version of the Adidas X. The Adidas X 2016 Boot features a lightweight and ultra-thin synthetic upper, combined with a X-cage for more stability and a techfit collar for a sock-like feel.
The Solar Gold Adidas X 2016 Soccer Boots retails at 200 USD (210 Euro, 160 GBP) and will be available as FG / AG (Firm Ground) and SG (Soft Ground) from February 2016, while Adidas will also offer a separate AG (Artificial Grass) version for the first time.
