Japan 2016 Home Kit | First Adidas 2016 Kit On-Pitch Debut

This was fast. After the Japanese Football Federation revealed the spectacular Japan 2016 Home Jersey yesterday, Japan already debuted their new home strip in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Singapore.

It was a successful debut for the all-new Adidas 2016 kit collection, which boasts the Three Stripes on the side of the shirt instead of the traditional positioning on the sleeves, as Japan easily defeated Singapore 3-0 with goals from Mu Kanazaki, Keisuke Honda and Maya Yoshida.

Japan Debut Unique 2016 Home Jersey

Japan celebrated a successful debut in their new home shirt.

All navy, Japan's 2016 Home Jersey boasts a unique color gradient on the front featuring different shades of blue. And while the stunning graphic contrasted well at the beginning of the match, the design became less striking with increasing playing time.

We like the all-new Adidas design. What do you think of the on-pitch look of the brand-new positioning of the 3 Stripes? Let us know in the comments below, and also check out the new Japan 2016 Away Kit.
