Semi Solar Slime Adidas Messi 15.1 2016 Boots Released
The first regular Adidas Messi 15.1 boot release in 2016 today saw a bold "Semi Solar Slime / Solar Red / Black" colorway launched, set to be worn exclusively by Leo Messi and the members of Team Messi from today, February 23. Messi already showed off the garish pair of soccer cleats in last night's pre-Champions League training.
First introduced by Adidas before the 2015 Champions League final, the Messi 15.1 football cleats are the brand's first-ever football boot silo exclusive to one player. The second generation of the Adidas Messi boots already waits in line and will be unveiled in time for the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
Adidas Messi 15.1 - Semi Solar Slime / Solar Red / Black
This is the bold first 2016 paint job for the Adidas Messi 15.1 soccer cleats.
Based on the same overall design as the current Adidas Messi 15.1 soccer boot colorway, unveiled in November, the first Adidas Messi 2016 boots shift the color focus towards light green, which takes over the majority of the boots. The part around the heel of the Adidas Messi 15.1 March 2016 cleats is black, connected with the green part through a gradient.
Splashes of red are also present, for example in the giant Messi logo at the front, as well as the lower part of the studs. All in all, the new green Adidas Messi 15.1 2016 boots are sure to stand out on the field.
Tech-wise, the Adidas Messi 15.1 boots follow Adidas' great legacy of speed boots. They have a agility sole plate with triangular studs, while the most remarkable feature of the upper is the external "MessiCAGE" on both sides, designed to offer more stability in that area.
Retailing at 200 Euro (220 USD / 150 GBP), the first Adidas Messi 15.1 2016 boot colorway will be available from early March 2016.

Adidas Germany 'Alternate History' 1992 Collection Leaked
Update - Friday, May 22, 2026: Thanks to our follower @Julifu90, we have an image of the t-shirt of the Adidas Germany EQT 1992 retro collection. It is set to be released in the coming days.
We have the first image of a unique new Adidas Germany retro jacket, showcasing an intriguing new approach from the sportswear brand.
While the design instantly evokes strong nostalgia for the 1990s, this upcoming release is actually an "alternate history" creation. Despite its highly authentic vintage appearance and period-accurate details, this specific track jacket never actually existed in the official Adidas catalogues during the 1990s, making it a brand new addition to their retro-focused lifestyle collection.
To achieve this convincing old-school aesthetic, Adidas has utilized their classic 1992 template as the structural foundation for the design. The garment features a vibrant green base that heavily nods to Germany's traditional away kits of the era. The colors of the German national flag are cleverly completed on the sleeves through large geometric blocks that also recreate the 3 stripes.
The same jacket will also be released for Spain and other Adidas national teams.
