Marchisio Again Shows Off Blackout Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots
Update 02/01/16: Claudio Marchisio has returned to Juventus' training after the Christmas break wearing a blackout version of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly. He became the second Juventus player to train in the next-generation Nike Mercurial Superfly Soccer Boots in early December 2015.
Set to be released ahead of the Euro 2016 in France, the fifth generation of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots boast a similar look as the current generation of the boots (at least at first glance). So let's get straight into the close-up pictures of the blackout boots worn by Claudio Marchisio to find out what distinguishes the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly from the previous generation.

Featuring the almost exactly design as the blackout boots worn by Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo almost two months ago, the blackout boots used by Claudio Marchisio most remarkably come with an external heel counter. They also feature the striking lines structure on the upper, while the only difference to Cristiano's boots is the height of the trademark Dynamic Fit collar.
Whereas Cristiano Ronaldo's version of the blackout Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016-2017 Boots boasted a lower Dynamic Fit collar, especially made to meet the exact needs of the Portuguese superstar, Claudio Marchisio's Nike Mercurial Superfly Prototype Boots come with a much higher collar. In fact, it's actually certain that the same collar will be also used for the final retail version of the boot.
Cristiano Ronaldo and since then only two Juventus players. Have you spotted any other players who are not so close to Nike's small and exclusive factory in Montebelluna wearing the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots? Let us know in the comments below.

Harrogate Town 26-27 Home Kit Released
Harrogate Town has officially revealed its new home kit for the 2026-2027 season. Produced by technical sponsor New Balance, the latest primary strip offers a bold and modern twist on the club's traditional yellow and black colors. Following the recent reveal of their striking geometric away jersey, this home release confirms that New Balance is committed to delivering highly bespoke and eye-catching designs for the North Yorkshire side's upcoming campaign.
The New Balance Harrogate Town 26-27 home shirt features a vibrant yellow base, anchored by thick black vertical stripes across the front of the torso. However, instead of traditional solid bands, these stripes are executed with a modern, pixelated halftone gradient effect that fades heavily around the midsection to seamlessly accommodate the black "envirovent" sponsor logo. To ensure a cohesive and sharp aesthetic, the New Balance manufacturer logo and the official club crest are both applied in a sleek black and yellow monochrome finish.
The launch completes the team's set for 2026-2027.
