Italian Legend Cassano Laces Up in New Unique Boots

No more blacked-out Nike Tiempo Legend Boots. Sampdoria's 33-year old striker Antonio Cassano, who has been lacing up in various different one-of-a-kind (partly) blacked-out Nike Tiempo Legend Cleats in the past months, has switched to yet another unique boot that boasts a stealth look, creating a never-seen-before look for an infamous boot...

Antonio Cassano debuted the quite mysterious black and white boots in the Serie A match against Juventus on Sunday, while he previously laced up in blackout version of the Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots.

Antonio Cassano Debuts Partly Blacked-Out Mizuno Morelia Boots

Boasting a black and white upper, the boots worn by Antonio Cassano are quite obviously made by the Japanese brand Mizuno as both the outstep and the instep boast the iconic Runbird logo. However, while the new Antonio Cassano 2016 Boots are obliviously made by Mizuno, it's also quite easy to see that they are in fact the well-known classic Mizuno Morelia (sole plate). But why is the on-pitch appearance of the boots nevertheless all-new?

Whereas the regular edition of the iconic Mizuno Morelia Football Boot features a white tongue, striking red applications and the golden lettering Morelia on the outstep, Antonio Cassano blacked-out all bright elements of the upper except the Runbird logos, creating a boot that is as classic as a boot can be.

Apart from the blackout modifications made by Antonio Cassano, the Mizuno Morelia Antonio Cassano Edition is the same as the regular version of Mizuno's Heritage boot. Combining a Kangaroo leather upper with a fold-over tongue and a classic outsole, the Mizuno Morelia Soccer Boot is one of the most classic boots available.
