Liverpool Legend Robbie Fowler Shows Off Utterly Strange Nike Tiempo Boots

This boot is really anything but ordinary. Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler, whose career at the Reds began in 1984 as youth player, laced up in an one-of-a-kind pair of Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots in the Liverpool FC Legends vs Australian Legends match that took place yesterday.

Robbie Fowler Laces Up in One-of-a-Kind Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots

Close-up picture of the cleats used by the former Liverpool FC striker.

Based on the Anthracite and Volt Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots, Robbie Fowler came up with two ideas that make his Nike Tiempo Legend V Boots special. First, he blacked out all brandings of the boots to hide that his boots are actually made by the Swoosh (it even looks like that he painted over the branding on the sole plate). Second, his boots feature a really strange element around the forefoot area that is actually a tape that wraps around the forefoot area (for whatever reason it might be).

Apart from the unbranded look and the tape on the front area, the boots used by Robbie Fowler are the same as the regular edition of Nike's last generation Tiempo.

Definitely one of a kind and never seen before. What do you think of Robbie Fowler's modifications? Let us know in the comments below.
