Shock Blue Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Boots Released
The third colorway of the laceless Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl football boots brings an understated-yet-modern look to the futuristic silhouette. Officially launched today, the new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl cleat is blue with white Three Stripes and subtle accents in light green.
Adidas presented the all-new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl boots to the public in November 2015, before unveiling a bold first colorway in January, labeled Solar Green / Shock Pink / Core Black.
Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl - Shock Blue / Semi Solar Slime / White
This is the third Adidas Ace PureControl 2016 boot colorway.
Just like the first two Adidas Ace 2016 PureControl paint jobs, the Shock Blue laceless Adidas Ace football boots feature a straightforward design. Mostly blue, the third Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl cleats come with bold lateral Adidas stripes in white, while Semi Solar Slime, a light green, is used for the front pull tab and the bottom of the studs.
Unlike all the other premium versions of the Adidas Ace 16, the Adidas stripes only appear on the outside and also don't feature an inner gradient. The inside of the blue Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl is solid blue.
In order to offer a cleaner touch and pure ball control, the all-new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl boots do away with any sort of traditional lacing and instead only boast an extension of the heightened collar in the place where the lace would be in a standard soccer boot.
Other than that, the Shock Blue Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl soccer boots feature a Primeknit upper and are comparable to the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit boots. For more Adidas Ace 16 PureControl tech details, check out our in-depth analysis.
The stunning blue Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl football boots are available at select stockists for $300 (300 €, £250) from today.
