White Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl 2016 Speed of Light Boots Released
Adidas this week unveiled a stunning white, yellow and black Adidas Ace 16+ PureContro. Part of the Adidas 2016 Rio Olympics Speed of Light Pack, the white Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl cleats are a women's-exclusive release.
Adidas presented the all-new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl boots to the public in November 2015, before unveiling two equally bold actual colorways in January and February.
Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Speed of Light - White / Solar Yellow / Black
This is the stunning white Adidas Women's Ace 16+ PureControl soccer boot.
The new Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl cleats feature a mostly white upper to create a straightforward design. The lateral Adidas stripes on the first women's Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl football boots are black, while the outsole shines in bright yellow. For the first time, the cage on the outside of the Adidas Ace PureControl 2016 cleats, as well as the rear pull tab are offset in color.
Unlike all the other premium versions of the Adidas Ace 16, the Adidas stripes only appear on the outside of the White / Solar Yellow / Core Black Adidas Women's Ace 16+ PureControl cleats and also don't feature a gradient. The inside of the new Adidas Ace PureControl women's soccer shoes is solid white.
Branded as the first football boot to offer a truly "pure touch", the new Adidas Ace PureControl cleats do away with any sort of traditional lacing and instead only boast an extension of the heightened collar in the place where the lace would be in a standard soccer boot.
Other than that, the white women's Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl soccer boots feature a Primeknit upper and are comparable to the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit boots. For more Adidas Ace 16 PureControl tech details, check out our in-depth analysis.
The striking white / yellow Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl football boots are available at select stockists for $300 (300€, £250).
