Barcelona 17-18 Home Kit Released

Nike and FC Barcelona this morning officially launched the Barcelona 17-18 home kit. Sponsored by Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten for the very first time, the Barcelona 2017-2018 jersey introduces a totally new look for the club.

The Barcelona 2017-18 jersey features a totally new fading stripes design after the current home shirt re-introduced classic Blaugrana stripes. Besides the dominant stripe theme, the Barcelona 17-18 kit also returns to darker shades of blue and red after the classics-inspired 2016-17 edition.

A red stripe runs down each sleeve and on the sides of the Barcelona 2017-18 home jersey, while a Catalan flag detail is visible on the neck. The sleeves of the Barcelona 17-18 shirt feature a mesh detail, but only on the authentic version.

Template-wise, the new Barcelona 2017-2018 shirt is based on the second generation of Nike's almost infamous Vapor template - it has slightly different insets on the sides and also an updated knit pattern on the sleeves.

Club inner pride detailing can be discovered with “Força” on the inner right sleeve and “Barça” on the left of the Barcelona 2017-18 home jersey.

Blue shorts and socks, both with gold logos and red accents, complete the outstanding look of the Barcelona 17-18 home kit.

The Nike FC Barcelona 2017-2018 home kit will be available to buy from June 1.
