Next-Gen Nike Magista Opus II 2016-17 Boots Released
The highly anticipated Nike Magista Opus II soccer cleats was introduced today with an absolutely striking colorway. Functioning as first alternative to the collared Nike Magista Obra 2 football boots, the Nike Magista Opus II will be worn by the likes of Casemiro, Andrés Iniesta and Arda Turan.
Nike Magista Opus II - Volt / Total Orange / Pink Blast / Black
This is the launch colorway of the next-generation Nike Magista Opus 2016-2017 football boots.
Predominantly Volt, the striking Nike Magista Opus II launch colorway features a bold, black Swoosh on the outside. The most eye-catching feature of the first-ever Nike Magista Opus 2 soccer cleats is a heatmap-like gradient design on both sides of the shoe, fading from Volt to orange to pink. The heel and sockliner of the Nike Magista Opus II soccer cleats are turquoise.
Tech-wise, although the Nike Magista II football boots are shaped similarly to their predecessors, they feature a totally new grip texture, consisting of differently sized dots that are positioned in areas critical to the ball touch. Generally speaking, the upper of the Nike Magista Opus II cleats continues to be made of leather-like Kangalite.
The external heel counter known from the previous generation was removed, with the Volt Nike Magista Opus boots featuring an internal solution instead. The sole plate of the Nike Magista Opus 2 football cleats, identical to that of the Nike Magista Obra II, introduces a new stud layout which sees a number of bladed studs added to the mix.
Set to be available from late July 2016, the flamboyant Nike Magista Opus 2 boots retail at $230, a small increase on the price of the first generation.
