Having become one of the last teams to unveil a kit for the already up-and-running 2016-17 season, FC Barcelona will debut its bold new Nike third kit in today's Champions League encounter against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Here are some pictures of the Barcelona 2016-2017 third strip from the match.

Defined by a gradient between two shades of teal, Barcelona's 16-17 third kit features thin stripes on both sides of the shirt and shorts, while the Qatar Airways logo - which interestingly was nowhere to be seen on the Youth League kit - is purple. Rounding things off is the 'volt' player names and numbers typeface, based on the same style as on the home and away uniforms.
