Sergio Ramos To Sign Multi-Million Euro Boot Deal

Update - November 16: Marca reports that Sergio Ramos, who is set to make his comeback against Atlético this weekend, wants two million Euro / season for a new sponsorship deal that should run at least for four years. His deal with Nike expired in June, while the favorites to become Ramos' new boot supplier are Adidas and Nike.

Ramos current ban on wearing other brands will end in February 2017, as do the first refusal rights held by his existing sponsor.

Sergio Ramos to Sign Four-Year Adidas Boot Deal?

Sergio Ramos is set to return on the pitch on Saturday - wearing blackout Adidas X soccer boots.

Update - November 1: For the first time since the injury he suffered around one month ago, Sergio Ramos was back on the pitch wearing football boots. The Real Madrid defender laced up in blackout Adidas X 16 boots, making a switch to the Three Stripes more likely after he surprisingly was spotted wearing Nike running shoes five days ago.

Sergio Ramos Continues Recovery Wearing Blackout Adidas X 16 Boots

Here is a screenshot from the video that Sergio Ramos posted yesterday, revealing that he is wearing Adidas X boots.

Update - October 27: For the first time since several months, Sergio Ramos has been spotted wearing Nike shoes. The Real Madrid defender is currently out with an injury and just had his first recovery training session out on the pitch yesterday.

However, while it is not 100% certain yet that Ramos will join Adidas and leave the Swoosh, the latest spot just makes it a little less likely that he will return to Nike (he was previously also spotted with Nike shoes, but not with Nike boots since several months...). Read the original post further down and stay tuned for more updates when he returns on the pitch wearing football boots and not shoes.

Sergio Ramos Spotted Wearing Nike Shoes

Here is the video that Sergio Ramos posted on Instagram today.

Update - October 6: For the first time since ditching his previous Nike Tiempo boots, Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos has been spotted wearing regular, branded Adidas boots. He laced up in the black-and-gold Adidas Ace 16.1 Leather boots from the Stellar Pack in one of the last training sessions before the international break. Read the original post further down.

Update: For the first time, Sergio Ramos today laced up in the blackout Adidas X 16.1 Leather boots he's been wearing in an official game, at home against Osasuna.

Real Madrid defender and Spain international Sergio Ramos was spotted wearing new blackout boots in training today after he had been already spotted wearing different blackout boots in the past few weeks.

Sergio Ramos Trains In Adidas X 16.1 Leather Boots

This is a close-up of the Adidas X cleats worn by Ramos.

Whereas Sergio Ramos was wearing blackout Nike Tiempo cleats in his last official match with Spain and wore blackout Adidas X PureChaos cleats in training previously, the fact that the Real Madrid superstar now even wore the Adidas X 16.1 Leather soccer boots makes it very likely that he will leave Nike and join the Three Stripes at the start of the year.
