Adidas has unveiled a special edition of its new Ace 17+ PureControl football boots dedicated to Paul Pogba to kick off the new year. Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Paul Pogba Boots - Pogba Capsule Collection
This image shows the special-edition Adidas Ace Paul Pogba 2017 boots from the Adidas Pogba Capsule collection.
Similar to the very first Adidas 'Pogboom' boots from March 2016, the new Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Pogba boots combine a black base with gold detailing. The latter color is used for the sole plate of the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Pogba signature boots as well as for the outline of the 3 Stripes on the outside. A subtle, marble like gold pattern is also present in the rear part.
Tech-wise, Paul Pogba's exclusive Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl boots are the same as all other and regular editions of the model. They feature a Primeknit upper with a laceless construction for a cleaner striking surface. New this gen is the addition of Adidas Boost technology in the midsole part of the shoe, and this is no different in the Paul Pogba edition of the Ace 17+ PureControl from the Pogba Capsule collection.
Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Pogba Capsule Collection - Features
- Primeknit upper with NSG (Non-Stop Grip) texture
- Laceless Purecut sock
- Lightweight Sprintframe outsole
- Total Control stud alignment
Unlike the first-ever Pogba signature cleats released by Adidas shortly after the Frenchman signed for the brand in early 2016, the new Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Paul Pogba football boots get released to the general public. They are only available in the form of the top-notch Adidas Ace 17+ variant, which retails at $330, a slightly higher price than regular editions, from January 17.
In addition to the cleated Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Paul Pogba boots, the Adidas Pogba Capsule collection will also include at least an indoor and a turf version. More on that soon.

Neymar to Retain Brazil No. 10 Shirt for 2026 World Cup
The debate over Brazil’s most iconic shirt number has been officially settled ahead of the 2026 World Cup. It has been confirmed that Neymar will retain the famous No. 10 jersey for the upcoming tournament in North America.
Following a lengthy period away from the national team due to injury, questions had naturally arisen regarding the future of the prestigious shirt. During Neymar's prolonged absence, the Brazilian No. 10 was shared among the squad's other attacking stars. Both Vinicius Junior and Raphinha have donned the historic number in recent international fixtures.
Despite their growing influence and status within the Seleção, both players have willingly stepped aside out of respect for the veteran forward. Highlighting the squad's unity on the matter, Vinicius Junior openly addressed the situation, stating clearly that the shirt "obviously belongs to Neymar."
Earlier rumors suggested that Neymar might adopt the No. 13 jersey.
Do you agree with the decision to keep Neymar in the No. 10 shirt, or was it time to pass it on to a younger player like Vinicius Junior? Let us know in the comments below.

Liverpool 26-27 Home Kit Water Bottle Released
The official Liverpool FC online store has released an interesting "LFC 26/27 Home Water Bottle".
The design of the water bottle mirrors the home kit. The front of the bottle also displays the Liverbird crest and the current Standard Chartered sponsor logo - however, it lacks the Adidas logo and looks very offset. They should have placed logos differently...
The text "Liverpool FC 26-27" is printed on the bottle in the new official Liverpool font.
