Messi's Boot Breaks vs Sevilla
If you just caught La Liga's top game of the weekend between Sevilla and Barcelona, you might have noticed something unusual happening to no other than Leo Messi's boots in the later stages of the game.
Receiving a challenge with a bit less than ten minutes to go, the right of his Adidas Messi 16.1 cleats not only went off, it outright tore on the outside right of its so-called mono-tongue construction.
Subsequently, Messi initially tried to put the broken shoe back on before realizing he had to get a new pair from outside - the referee booked him for wasting time.
