Barcelona's Aleñá Switches Boots Before Scoring on Debut
Barcelona's Carles Aleñá finally made his long-awaited first team debut last night and even got his team's only goal in the 1-1 draw against Hércules with a nice long-range effort.
A PureControl adapter of the first hour, Aleñá stepped onto the pitch for his first-ever game for the Barcelona first team wearing the Red Limit Adidas Ace 17+. Interestingly, though, he switched to the Stellar Pack colorway of the Ace 16+ PureControl for the second half, during which he scored said goal.
Aleñá, born on January 5, 1998, has been with Barcelona for his whole career. A regular of the Spanish youth national teams, he has become a mainstay of Barcelona's B team, which interestingly plays in the same league as last night's opponent, Hércules, this season. This is definitely a name we'll go on to hear a lot more in the future, although a league debut in this weekend's Clásico seems highly unlikely.
