What Will They Wear? El Clásico Boot Preview

It's that time of the year again. El Clásico, probably the biggest game in club football is on tomorrow, as Barcelona seeks to close the gap to Real Madrid at the top of La Liga. Not only does the sporting side of things promise a lot, the boots will be interesting as well as several high-profile players (are there any players in this that aren't?) are set to make switches.

FC Barcelona Boot XI

Take a look at Barcelona's expected boot lineup below.

Andrés Iniesta is all but confirmed to return to the Barcelona starting lineup after a few weeks of being injured, while the trident of Messi, Suárez and Neymar will try to wreck havoc up front.

Boot-wise, Neymar's much talked-about switch from the 'Hypervenom' to the Mercurial Vapor XI will dominate the scene, but El Clásico will also be the first game that will see the likes of Busquets, Piqué and Mascherano lace up in the new Dark Lightning pack boots.

Real Madrid Boot XI

This is Real Madrid's expected boot lineup, without the injured Gareth Bale.

On Madrid's side, the same is true. Whereas Pepe is set to play in Umbro Medusae boots for the first time, his partner at center back, Sergio Ramos, will wear the new Nike Tiempo Legend VI Dark Lightning edition for the first time since his continuity at the Swoosh was confirmed.

Other than that it's business as usual at Madrid, with the team split almost evenly between Adidas and Nike athletes.
