Better Than Nike's? USA 2017 Home & Away Kits by Conrad Burry

Having won over the people with his redesign of the much-criticized new third kit, graphic designer Conrad Burry is back at it again with two more USA concepts for home and away.

USA 2017 Home Kit Concept

This is Conrad Burry's version of the USA 2017 home jersey.

The home shirt draws inspiration from the famous 2012 rendition, dubbed the "Waldo jersey" and shows relatively thin red hoops on white ground. Completing the colors of the flag and national team crest, dark blue is present in the form of said logo, the Swoosh and also thin stripes around the rear collar and on each side of the jersey.

Navy shorts and white socks, the latter also featuring a hoop theme, on the back, complete a look that would definitely spark discussion amongst supporters.

USA 2017 Away Kit Concept

This is how the Nike USA 2017 away shirt would look like if it was up to this designer.

For the away shirt, a more reserved and understated direction is taken. It is dark blue with a subtle stars pattern and white sleeves. The stripes on the neck and sides are red, while the shorts and socks are white and blue, respectively.

Either way, it might not be too long until new USA home and away jerseys are released by Nike - rumors have been floating around in regards a new set for this summer's Gold Cup. Stay tuned for updates.
