Based in Jinan and coached by famed German instructor Felix Magath, Shandong Luneng Taishan's most prestigious players include the Brazilians Gil and Diego Tardelli, as well as strikers Papiss Cisse and Graziano Pelle, who both played in the Premier League before joining the CSL.
