Unreleased Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility Ballon d'Or Boots Leaked
A boot that will certainly never see the light of the day surfaced online these days in the form of the Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility special-edition Ballon d'Or cleats. These Adidas Messi 16+ special-edition football boots were meant to be released in early January had Messi won his sixth, which ended up in Cristiano Ronaldo's hands instead.
Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility Ballon d'Or 2016 - Gold Metallic / Black
This is the Ballon d'Or special edition of the Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility soccer boots.
Based on the same fade design of the Red Limit and Blue Blast editions, which would have been launched before and after it, respectively, the never-to-be-released Adidas Messi 16+ PureAgility Ballon d'Or cleats fade from gold-metallic towards a white-iridescent sole plate. The lateral Adidas stripes are black, while the collar is red with a subtle print.
Had Messi won a record sixth Ballon d'Or at the end of last year, these special-edition boots would have been released in early 2017 to commemorate it, just like the ones Nike ended up releasing for Cristiano Ronaldo instead. They would have been launched in very limited quantities and for a slightly higher price than regular editions of the Messi 16+.
