Lahm and Xabi Alonso to Debut Adidas Predator Mania Boots this Weekend

Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso, the two legendary Bayern Munich players who retire at the end of this season, were spotted wearing the similarly iconic Adidas Predator Mania boots in training today with everything set for a debut in the Bundesliga game against Darmstadt this weekend.

Released earlier this week, the Adidas Predator Mania and the accompanying Champagne collection celebrated the legacy of one of the most outstanding football boot colorways of all time.

Tied in nicely with the off-white tournament ball, the Adidas Predator Mania Champagne was a mainstay of the 2002 World Cup. It was around that time that Alonso, 35, and Lahm, 33, started their careers at Real Sociedad and Bayern Munich, respectively.

Now, the cycle comes to an end and it looks like Adidas has provided footwear fit for the occasion.

We'll keep you updated if any other players are spotted wearing the Adidas Predator Mania ahead of this weekend's league action. Real Madrid's James Rodríguez could well be one of them.
