Mitre, the official ball supplier of the English Football League, yesterday launched the new football for the 2017-18 Championship, League One and League Two seasons. The new Mitre Delta 17-18 football pays homage to the iconic Mitre Delta ball of the 1990s.
Mitre EFL 17-18 Football
This is the new Mitre Delta 2017-2018 soccer ball.
A throwback to the famous Mitre Delta football of the 1990s, the new Mitre Delta soccer ball boasts a unique graphic design in white and different shades of blue and red.
Tech-wise, the Mitre Delta is nothing like a 1990's ball but as good as it can get for an elite level football in 2017. The Mitre Delta features Hyperseam technology for a pure in-flight path and increased grip, a unique embossed surface to manipulate air-flow for unrivaled pin-point accuracy and bonded seams repel water for zero water uptake.
The Mitre Delta EFL Match Ball has been launched in both white and hi-vis colorways, with the hi-vis yellow colorway to be used from Autumn.
