All-New Italy 2018 National Team Logo Revealed

The Italian Football Federation today confirmed the previous leaks and revealed the new national team logo, which will be used from now on. It also features on the Italy 2018 home kit, which is set to be released shortly.

The new logo of the Italian Football Federation (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio; FIGC) features a more modern design than the crest introduced after the 2006 World Cup triumph. The shape of the crest is much rounder and softer, and the whole logo style is more open.

The four golden stars were moved from the inside of the crest to the top and the colors and positioning of the FIGC logo were also changed. However, all in all, despite the many changes, the new crest retains all elements of the previous crest.

Italy's new crest appears on the new Italy 2018 home jerseys, which are set to be released later this month.
