Northampton Town's 17-18 third shirt is almost identical to last season's Manchester City third kit. Three days after the club proudly presented their new third shirt for the 2017-2018 League One campaign, Man City swooped in and replied with a tweet essentially insinuating Northampton's shiny new third kit would be knock-off kits from last season.
However, it is not the club's fault at first glance that the kits are as similar as the new Northampton Town 17-18 third kit is based on Nike's all-new Precision III IV Teamwear jersey. The club could have nevertheless chosen another kit from Nike's Teamwear offering to avoid that controversy.
Seeing Nike use man city's old kit for Northampton is further proof that they are the laziest and most unoriginal kit designers, shit company
