Swansea Defender Shows Off Makeshift Laceless Adidas X 17 Boots

Swansea defender Alfie Mawson has become the first player to 'create' his own laceless version of the Adidas X 17.1 football boots that were released this summer.

Alfie Mawson simply removed the laces to create a makeshift laceless edition of the Adidas X 17.1 football boots, similar as a few other players have done with the last generation Adidas X 16.1 boots. Apart from that, his boots are the same as the standard edition of the Adidas X 17.1 Ocean Storm soccer boots.

In fact, it is nothing new that Alfie Mawson is wearing laceless Adidas X 17.1 football boots as he also used them in the 2017 UEFA U21 European Championship this summer. It remains his secret why he is not wearing the laceless Adidas X 17+ Purespeed football boots, but there are surely reasons for it.
