Insane Adidas Predator Mania 2002 Chrome Boots Revealed

Some weeks ago, Adidas invented some of their biggest fans to their headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Adidas fan and Predator nerd @thepredcollective was one of the people invented to Adidas' HQ, and the Three Stripes showed him off a very interesting Adidas Predator Mania Chrome prototype soccer cleat from around 2002.
Adidas Predator Mania Chrome Prototype Boots - Silver / Red
This is the silver and red Adidas Predator Mania Chrome prototype football boot.
The Adidas Predator Mania Chrome soccer boots from 2002 boast a modern metallic outsole that one would rather expect to see on a boot released in 2017 than on a 15-years old boot. However, while the chrome sole plate look more like a 2017ish football such as the Puma ONE Chrome, the Kangaroo leather upper with the classic tongue shows that the boot is actually from 2002.
Apart from the design, the Chrome Adidas Predator Mania soccer cleats are the same as the standard Adidas Predator Mania boot launched in 2002. They feature a Kangaroo leather upper, a fold-over tongue and an external heel counter.
