Messi Wears One of a Kind Custom Adidas Nemeziz Boots
Update: A brand new picture shared by his club Barcelona yesterday gives us one of the best looks yet at Lionel Messi's custom Adidas Nemeziz boots. Instead of the regular one-piece upper, Messi's cleats feature a 'burrito tongue' that's connected to the upper of the shoe on one side only.
A new picture reveals that Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi is wearing modified football boots and not the cleats that you can buy. Before the picture emerged, it was believed that Messi would wear non-modified Adidas Nemeziz 17.1 boots.
Leo Messi ReceivWears Modified Adidas Nemeziz Cleats
Here is the picture that reveals that Messi's Adidas Nemeziz Pyro Storm bots are different to those you can buy.
Lionel Messi's Adidas Nemeziz 17.1 Pyro Storm football boots feature a modified tongue construction. Whereas the Adidas Nemeziz 17.1 football boot introduced an all-new 'Dual Lock collar construction' for ankle stability and increased lockdown, Messi's custom boot has a tongue construction that seems to be the same as the one of the discontinued Messi-exclusive signature boot.
However, while the tongue construction of Messi's custom Adidas Nemeziz boots is totally different to the one of the standard cleats, the upper material and all other elements of the cleat are identical to the regular Adidas Nemeziz 17.1.
What do you think of Leo Messi's custom Adidas Nemeziz 17.1 soccer boots? Did you expect that he would receive a modified version of the Adidas Nemeziz? Let us know in the comments below.

Śląsk Wrocław Announces Macron Kit Deal - No More Nike
Macron has signed a multi-year agreement to become the technical partner of Polish club WKS Śląsk Wrocław.
Starting from the 2026-27 season, the Italian brand will provide technical apparel for the club's men's first and second teams, women's team, youth academy, and blind football team. The five-season deal is the most significant technical partnership in the club's history and includes plans for a new merchandising line for supporters.
Śląsk Wrocław secured promotion to the Ekstraklasa after an impressive campaign in the second tier. Founded in 1947, the Wrocław-based club has won two Polish league titles, two Polish Cups, and one Super Cup, with experience in European competitions. Macron is developing bespoke game sets that will be revealed before the start of the new season.
The partnership bolsters Macron's presence in Polish football alongside existing deals with Lech Poznań, Widzew Łódź, and GKS Katowice.
Marcelo Wears Spain 2026 World Cup Away Anthem Jacket
Marcelo has been pictured wearing Spain's new anthem jacket for the 2026 World Cup. The former Real Madrid and Brazil left-back appears in two photos wearing the navy Adidas piece, as shared on social media.
The jacket pays homage to Spain's 2010 World Cup away kit with a navy base, yellow Adidas logo and three stripes in the colors of the Spanish flag. It is designed for use during the national anthem at the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
