AS Roma 18-19 Home Kit Revealed

Nike and AS Roma launched the Italian club's new home kit this morning. Inspired by the armor worn by Ancient Roman soldiers, the Nike AS Roma 2018-2019 home jersey will go on sale on May 17, four days after its debut in the match against Juventus.

The Roma 2018-19 home jersey is predominantly 'Team Red', which is a tad darker compared to the shade of red used last year. A yellow collar and Swoosh round off the look in addition to a subtle graphic print on the front and back.

Said graphic is inspired by the Lorica Hamata, the chainmail armor worn by soldiers in ancient Rome.

A 'Roma Siamo Noi' (We Are Rome) pride graphic adorns the inside neck of the Nike Roma 2018-2019 kit. Qatar Airways' logo appears on the center front of the new AS Roma home shirt in white.

Template-wise, the Roma 18-19 kit is based on the latest version of the Nike Vapor template. It's the base of all of Nike's World Cup and 2018-19 kits and is an update on the style first introduced in 2016.

Red shorts and yellow socks complete the AS Roma 2018-2019 home kit by Nike.
