No More Adidas - Real Sociedad Signs Macron Kit Deal

Update: Macron today announced that they signed a 3-year agreement with Basque Real Sociedad. The agreement will run from 2018-19 to 2020-21.

Basque La Liga club Real Sociedad has decided not to renew its contract with Adidas and will switch to Italian kit maker Macron, it has been revealed by Spanish newspaper El Diario Vasco. Adidas had been making Real Sociedad's kits since 2014 when they took over from Nike.

The decision to sign with Macron comes at a time when the club is facing the challenge of getting even closer to its fans. With the new Macron deal, the club will receive more bespoke jerseys than they got from Adidas and Nike in the past few years. This was the main reason for the club to sign a deal with Macron.

Macron to Become New Real Sociedad Kit Supplier From 2018-19 Season

The new Macron Real Sociedad kit deal will be valid for three season. The partnership will begin on July 1 2018 and will run at least until the end of the 2020-21 season.
