The Nike Phantom Vision boot, which will replace the Magista Obra just after the World Cup has been in the news a lot lately, both thanks to leaks and a number of "boot spottings" from the training pitches around Europe.

Now, it has made its way to Spain where it was put through the paces by the likes Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti at Barcelona as well as Daniel Carvajal and Isco at Real Madrid.

Whereas the former three are currently sporting the Nike Magista Obra 2, which is the natural predecessor of the FTR10, Coutinho has been wearing Nike Mercurial Vapor cleats for some time. Pending his experience of the prototypes, he could become one of the faces of new silo together with Kevin De Bruyne.

The Nike Phantom Vision football boots, which will only be available as a high cut, will be first released in August 2018 in a white, grey and red colorway. They are the first Nike soccer cleat to feature a lace-cover, something that was probably inspired by the Adidas X line, which has had a similar feature since 2016. Other than that, they could easily be called Magista Obra 3 as they don't stray too far from what has made the Magista model so popular over the years.
