Just Flip Flops for USA?! Unique Hurley Nike 2018 World Cup Board Shorts Collection Released

Similar to the 2014 World Cup, Nike-owned Hurley released a unique board shorts collection for the 2018 World Cup. The new Hurley 2018 National Team collection includes board shorts for five national teams participating in the 2018 World Cup as well as USA board shorts.

A closer look reveals that Nike and Hurley 'trolled' the US national team by putting flip flops on the picture instead of football boots as the team did not qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Hurley is a surf lifestyle brand which designs, markets and distributes apparel, footwear and accessories. Founded in 1999 with roots in Huntington Beach, Hurley has been owned by Nike Inc. since 2002.
