"The Ball Makes Us More" - Nike Celebrate 20 Years of Barcelona Sponsorship with Emotional Film
Nike's partnership with Barcelona is one of the brand's biggest and longest-running. Started in 1998, this year marks its 20th anniversary, which has prompted Nike and the Catalan club to collaborate on a short film that starts Coutinho, Iniesta and Pique amongst others.
The upcoming Barcelona 2018-2019 home kit will in a way continue the celebrations, drawing inspiration from the first Barcelona kits Nike produced after taking over from Kappa back in the day.
Celebrating Barcelona's style of play as well as Catalan cultue, the film was directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister and also features popular skateboarder Pedro Attenborough and renowned BMX rider Malcom de Blas.
