Better Than The Previous Kit? On Pitch: Liverpool 18-19 Home Kit
Liverpool debuted their new 2018-2019 home jersey in the last Premier League match of the season against Brighton today.
The Liverpool 2018-2019 strip retains the retro styling and color scheme of the previous home shirt. Compared to the previous jersey, it features a rich, deeper red – as well as linear stripes on the front of the shirt which are inspired by the landmark architecture of the redeveloped Main Stand. New Balance also created a new tipped two-button polo collar "that makes the stylish jersey even more wearable for supporters".
"Our kit isn’t just something we wear to play – it is part of who we are as a team," said Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
"We feel immensely proud when pulling on the LFC home shirt, it means more to us than you could even imagine; after all, Liverpool Football Club is like no other. I have no doubt that our fans will love the new kit and will wear it with pride when supporting us this coming season."
However, while Liverpool today already debuted their new 2018-2019 jersey, they will switch back to the 2017-18 home kit for the Champions League final.
