Have you ever wondered how often teams use their home, away and third jerseys, respectively? Now thanks to kit nerd @kit_geek, we get a comprehensive overview of how often teams used which kit in the 2017-2018 Premier League season.
2017-18 Premier League Kit Log by Kit Geek
It is only logical that the home kit was used most often in the 2017-18 Premier League season, with teams wearing their traditional home kit in 73% of all matches (~28 matches in the home kit / team - in 8% of the games they wore a variation of their home uniform with different shorts / socks). The away kit was used in 17% of all games (~ 6 matches with the away kit / team), while the third kit was just worn in 10% of all matches (~4 matches with the third kit / team).

Brighton and Hove Albion was the team that used alternative kits the most times, in 17 of the 19 away games. Their 3rd kit was only used once against Chelsea. Tottenham Hotspur's purple Nike camouflage third kit was the only shirt of the 59 registered with the Premier League that was not used.
Nike's Tottenham Hotspur 17-18 was not used in any Premier League match
