Never-Seen-Before Adidas 2018 World Cup Boots Personalization Revealed
Images of national teams' training ahead of the 2018 World Cup reveal that Adidas has introduced a brand-new flag customization option for the 2018 World Cup and their best players.
Earlier this month, Nike revealed their brand-new personalization option for the 2018 World Cup boots consisting of a triangle-shaped flag, the silo and brand logos underneath it as well as the player's shirt number and name on the right side.
Adidas Introduces New 2018 World Cup Soccer Cleats Customization For Their Athletes
The new special Adidas personalization feature for the 2018 World Cup features the country's flag of the respective player on the medial side of the shoe, e.g. Mesut Özil's boots come with the German flag and Angel Di Maria's boots feature the Argentinian flag.
Interestingly, only few Adidas players' boots feature the new personalization flag - the shoes of the likes of Delle Alli and Lionel Messi come without the flag (at least so far).
However, if you want the new personalization option for your Adidas 2018 World Cup boots, we have to disappoint you. The new Adidas 2018 World Cup flag personalization option is exclusive for Adidas' sponsored athletes.
