Adidas, Nike & Puma All Use Pink for 2026 World Cup
With the 2026 World Cup just around the corner, the highly anticipated tournament boot collections from the "Big Three" are finally coming into full view. In a massive and highly unusual coincidence, Adidas, Nike, and Puma have all selected the exact same primary color for the world's biggest football festival: pink.
Both Nike and Adidas have opted for a nearly identical colorway formula, heavily utilizing a striking mix of pink, white, and black across all of their respective silos. Puma is also fully embracing the trend, though they have introduced a slight variation to stand out. Their pack features a vibrant pink mixed with bright orange gradients, with the notable exception of the King 20 model, which features a predominantly white base with pink detailing.
With all three major sportswear giants completely aligning on this bold hue, we can be absolutely certain that a sea of pink will dominate the pitches across North America this summer.
However, this shared color palette is going to create a very unique issue during the tournament. With the vast majority of players wearing the exact same vibrant shade, it is going to be incredibly difficult for fans and boot spotters to quickly identify specific brands and models from a distance during television broadcasts.
Adidas & Kith Tease Special Messi 2026 World Cup Kit Collection
Ronnie Fieg, the founder and owner of the prominent fashion and streetwear brand Kith, has officially teased a new Adidas kit collection dedicated to Lionel Messi ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The Adidas x Kith Messi kit collection is shaping up to be a massive tribute. Given that the 2026 World Cup will in all likelihood be Messi's final tournament as a player, the Three Stripes are going all out to honor their greatest player of all time.
Thus far, Fieg has previewed a rack of stunning co-branded jerseys. The standout of the teaser is a remake of the Argentina 2006 home kit - the exact template worn during the year of Messi's very first World Cup appearance.
Ronnie Fieg also reveals three additional bespoke shirts in dark navy, off-white/cream, and black.
Stunning Fortuna Köln 2026 Regional Cup Final Kit Released
German side SC Fortuna Köln has released a highly limited special-edition kit to wear during their upcoming 2026 Mittelrheinpokal final. Produced by Dutch sportswear brand Robey, this exclusive release celebrates the club's first appearance in the regional cup final in six years, as they look to secure the trophy for the first time in 13 years.
The Robey SC Fortuna Köln 2026 Cup Final shirt introduces a striking tri-color gradient design that provides a highly bespoke look for the occasion. The top of the jersey begins in a deep navy blue, smoothly fading into a vibrant light blue chest band before transitioning into a clean white lower half.
Adding a premium, historic touch to the kit, all application details - including the Robey manufacturer branding, the central 'HIT' sponsor, and a classic standalone 'F' retro crest - are executed in metallic gold. A subtle light blue V-neck collar and matching sleeve cuffs complete the sophisticated aesthetic.
Priced at €75, this exclusive release serves as a unique collector's item for supporters of the Regionalliga West side. Curiously, while releasing this kit, the club has actively pushed an "All in Red" (Alle in Rot) motto for the fans attending the match, asking supporters to create a sea of red in the stands despite the team wearing their special-edition colors on the pitch.
