Juventus Sold 520,000 CR7 Kits In The First 24 Hours (Yahoo Sport Italia)
According to Yahoo Sport Italia, Cristiano Ronaldo's number 7 Juventus shirt has been sold almost 520,000 times in the first 24 hours when the transfer was announced. Each shirt costs 104 Euro in the official Juventus store (it is available for 89 Euro at independent retailer Kitbag).
"Yesterday, in fact, in the Juventus Store in Milan there was an endless row of fans from the opening at 10 in the morning, who bought a Ronaldo jersey a minute . In 10 hours of opening it translates into 600 meshes. And in the evening the news came that the jerseys sold in the various Juventus and Adidas stores around the world had reached 20,000. While on the website there would be 500 thousand CR7 shirts booked. A total of 520 thousand meshes in the first 24 hours of Ronaldo's arrival in Turin."
Juventus paid 105 million Euro for Cristiano Ronaldo, and alone with the jersey sales they already earned some of the money they paid for Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, at a price of 104 Euro per kit, Juventus generated sales of around 54 million Euro.
Of course, Juventus does only receive a part of the profits from the CR7 shirt sales. We think that have owned a lower double-digit million Euro amount. Juventus' Adidas contract allows them to buy the shirts from Adidas and then get all the profit from the shirt sales.

MLS Players Wear Their National Flags on Kits Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Major League Soccer last weekend hosted a dedicated "Farewell Week" to send off its international stars. To mark the occasion, all clubs across the domestic league took to the pitch wearing specially customized kits that honored the various nations represented within their squads.
The most prominent visual update to the MLS uniforms was the addition of official national flags printed directly on the chest for all players and coaching staff. In a highly thoughtful and personalized touch, the league provided specialized double-flag variations for athletes holding dual citizenship. This bespoke detail allowed these specific players to proudly represent both their current homelands and their heritage simultaneously before joining their respective national team camps.
Beyond the chest graphics, teams also sported a unique set of squad numbers on the back of their shirts, featuring a custom pattern made up of the flags of all 48 countries participating in this summer's World Cup.
What do you think of this customized flag concept for the MLS World Cup Farewell Week? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
