Plastered With Sponsors From Top to Bottom - Austrian Bundesliga Club Wolfsberger AC Reveals Insane 18-19 Kits
Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC this week presented its new jerseys for the 2018-2019 season. Following the reveal of the first picture of the kit, the club was confronted with critics because of the ridicoulous number of sponsor logos on the jerseys.
Wolfsberger AC 18-19 Jako Home Kit
Made by Jako, the new Wolfsberger AC 18-19 home jersey is white with unusual pink applications. However, this is difficult to see because the kit is plastered with sponsor logos. The shorts of the kit also come with various big sponsors, and even the socks are used for sponsors.
In 2015, Wolfsberger AC played against Borussia Dortmund in the third round of the UEFA Europa League qualification - the kit back then featured less advertising than the new 2018-19 jersey.
Last season, the Austrian Bundesliga became the first league to allow a special jersey sponsor for one player of the starting XI.
