Compare All Nike Phantom Vision Boots Sole Types - FG vs AG vs SG-Pro Anti-Clog vs Indoor vs Turf Versions

Nike replaced the Nike Magista Obra with the all-new Nike Phantom Version for the 2018-2019 season. We take a look at the different sole plate versions of the all-new Nike Phantom Version 2018 football boots, revealing that the AG-PRO and SG-PRO versions are identical to those of the Nike Magista.

Nike Phantom Vision - FG Version

The FG sole plate of the next-generation Nike Phantom VSN soccer cleats, the main sole plate, is made for slightly wet short-grass pitches. The full-length plate feels responsive and has multi-directional studs for quick cuts and bursts of speed.

Nike Phantom Vision - AG Version

The AG-Pro version of the all-new Nike Phantom Vision 2018 soccer cleats features the standard Nike AG-Pro sole plate. The Nike Phantom Vision Elite Dynamic Fit AG-PRO plate maximizes traction and minimizes heat on artificial grass.

Interestingly, the identical AG-PRO sole plate was also used for the Nike Magista AG version.

Nike Phantom Vision - Anti-Clog SG-PRO

The Nike Phantom VSN Anti-Clog SG-PRO comes with the revolutionary Nike Anti-Clog plate technology. Introduced in 2016, the Nike Anti-Clog technology prevents mud from clogging the sole plate of Nike's football boots. SG-PRO boots are designed for wet and muddy pitches requiring maximum traction

The Nike Phantom Vision Anti-Clog SG-PRO plate seems to be identical to the one of the Nike Magista.

Nike Phantom Vision - Indoor & Turf Versions (Second tier)

The Nike Phantom VSN football bots are also available as small-sided indoor and turf versions. However, while they come with Nike's Zoom technology, they are not based on the best model (Elite) but on the second-tier Pro version.

All different sole plate 11-a-side versions of the Nike Phantom Vision 2018 soccer cleats retail at the same price - 235 GBP, 270 Euro, 275 USD. The indoor and turf boots are available for around 150 USD.
