Adidas UEFA Nations League Replica Ball Looks Extremely Cheap

The UEFA Nations League kicked off this week. For the all-new national team competition, Adidas released a special UEFA Nations League football based on the panel design of the 2018 World Cup ball. As always, Adidas also released a cheap replica version of the ball, dubbed the Adidas UEFA Nations League 18-19 Top Glider ball. The look of the ball seems to be not of what you would expect to get from Adidas, however.

Featuring a traditional panel design and soft panels, the Adidas UEFA Nations League 18-19 Top Glider soccer ball is machine-stitched. It is one of the most cheap-looking balls we have seen in the past few years.

The ball was described as something you buy at the beach if you forgot your actual ball - spot on.

The Adidas UEFA Nations League 18-19 Top Glider football retails at 25 Euro, which is much less than the UEFA Nations League Official Match Ball (150 Euro).

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
