Nike to Collab with Supporters on Exclusive Chelsea Shirtholder’s Edition "Fan Jersey"
Upon releasing the Chelsea third kit, which is one of two Nike jerseys to feature new NikeConnect functionality, the Swoosh announced the first details on what exactly fans would be able to do with it.
Besides the ability to "access product, customized content and exclusive experiences", all Chelsea third shirt owners will have the chance to participate in the creation of the so-called 'Chelsea FC Shirtholder's Edition Fan Jersey'.
This process will involve Nike designers collaborating with Chelsea supporters, with an exclusive Chelsea 'Fan Jersey' set to be available exclusively to Shirtholders at the end.

Remember that only last year, Adidas held a similar contest to decide on the base design of its third kits for the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
A limited-edition Nike Barcelona 'Mashup' jersey is also on the way, perhaps it could end up being exclusive to owners of other Barcelona shirts as well? Only time will tell.
