Nike Reveals Mercurial Luka Modric 'The Best' Boots: Not Available to Buy
Update: Nike this morning gave us a better look at the special-edition Luka Modric Mercurial Vapor boots. Unfortunately, the company also confirmed that they will not be releasing to the public at all.
Luka Modric today won FIFA's The Best award, becoming the first player outside the Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi duopoly to do so in 11 years.
Celebrating this amazing feat, which recognizes a season which saw Modric win the UEFA Champions League and lead his national team to the World Cup final, Nike has created a special-edition Mercurial boot for the Croatian.

The Nike Mercurial Luka Modric 'The Best 2018' boots have a very colorful, almost iridescent upper with a geometrical pattern appearing all over it. Based on the Mercurial Vapor 12, they feature a large Swoosh on the outstep, inspired by the World Cup colorway.
Unfortunately, the boots will not be available to buy at all.

Produced by technical sponsor New Balance, the latest primary strip offers a bold and modern twist on the club's traditional yellow and black colors. Following the recent reveal of their striking geometric away jersey, this home release confirms that New Balance is committed to delivering highly bespoke and eye-catching designs for the North Yorkshire side's upcoming campaign.
The New Balance Harrogate Town 26-27 home shirt features a vibrant yellow base, anchored by thick black vertical stripes across the front of the torso. However, instead of traditional solid bands, these stripes are executed with a modern, pixelated halftone gradient effect that fades heavily around the midsection to seamlessly accommodate the black "envirovent" sponsor logo. To ensure a cohesive and sharp aesthetic, the New Balance manufacturer logo and the official club crest are both applied in a sleek black and yellow monochrome finish.
