Bailly's Nike Tiempo Boots Feature Mercurial Sole Plate

It's not unusual for players to wear other Nike boots modified to include the classic and simple Tiempo sole plate. This way, the conical stud layout of the Tiempo has been applied to other Nike models such as the Hypervenom, Phantom Vision or Mercurial.

For Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, who's fallen a bit out of favor at Old Trafford in recent months, it's a different story, as this picture shows:

Bailly, who has always worn Nike Tiempo Legend boots, has had his modified to replace the standard sole plate with one that looks very similar, albeit no identical to the one used on the Vapor XI and Superfly V. We are not entirely certain, but it looks like a mix between the FG and AG Mercurial plates.
