Brazilian side Atlético-MG is set to change their kit maker from 2019. Atletico Mineiro has been sponsored by Brazilian sportswear brand Topper since a few years but is reported to leave the brand.
Atletico-MG To Leave Topper Because of Topper's Prospected New Contract
The main reason for Atletico-MG to leave Topper is a new deal wanted by Topper. Topper wants the the clubs receive a higher percentage in product sales rather than a higher fixed amount, as previously agreed.
Adidas To Become New Atlético Mineiro Kit Maker
Adidas already had made Atlético Mineiro's from 1983 to 1985.
Brazilian news portal UOL reports that Atlético Mineiro's "girl of the eyes" is Adidas, a brand that would be "responsible for the best football shirt designs, and in this way, conversations already have been initiated to understand the feasibility of an agreement."
